The Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) continues to strengthen fishery exports to the European market. One of the steps is to participate in Seafood Expo Global (SEG) in Barcelona, Spain, together with ITPC Barcelona.

SEG is the largest seafood exhibition in the world and is expected to provide momentum for recovery and increased exports of Indonesian fishery products in the global market, especially in the European market. For information, Spain is the main hub for the entry of world fishery products into the European Union market and the Mediterranean region. This is because in the last 5 years, Spain on average contributed 18.6 percent of the fishery product import needs in the European Union, or USD 6.14 billion.
